Traditions in the military are what make the time while you serve extremely memorable.  The comradery and friendships made last a life time.  The tradition of zapping another squadrons aircraft with your squadron zap (basically a sticker) is what great stories are made of.  Many times it is not the simple task of placing a sticker or zap on the aircraft but to place it in a spot of complexity to find.  So hopefully when the aircraft returns to it home station the maintainers get to call the aircrew in and bust their hump about how they were zapped!  Military rivalries are worldwide and zapping is at the very core of many pranks.  Hopefully, our crew patch 2 Zap website will capture not only the crew or moral patch but the story that made it come about.  I would not say that you are zapping yourself to put it on your water bottle or coffee tumbler but hey maybe you could pick up a couple extra to zap your friends!
