About

Dan and Rob are Whidbey Island residents who have teamed up to bring out of the shadows military crew patches.  Rob is a 25 year Navy veteran, who flew with both VQ-1 and VQ-2.  Dan is a very accomplished  graphic artist who has run a successful business for the past 20 plus years.  Dan already has a sticker business called “Borealis” and when asked by Rob to help create a military crew patch to zap business, Dan was all in!  It is Rob’s vision to capture the very unique and often funny crew patches by having a website that will allow for the story to be told of how the patch got its origin and hopefully display a crew photo and allow for blogging by the military members themselves or by military enthusiasts.  So in a way the website becomes a little bit of a nostalgia page as well.  All customers have to do is take a photo of the patch with a cell phone and send it in and hopefully with the origin story and photo, but if they don’t have that we will still get it up on our site.

JOIN THE CREW AND ZAP YOUR PATCH

I would like to invite you to add your favorite crew patch or coin to be a part of a military focused website that creates high quality stickers. We all have crew patches and coins that sit in a box or in a holder. What if you could have them also as a sticker to put on your favorite water bottle or coffee tumbler? Our site crewpatch2zap.com will allow you to order a sticker one a time or as many as you want. Our goal is to keep the site up for years to come so as you get new water bottles or coffee tumblers you can keep your favorite patch or coin alive! The crew patch or coin sticker page will also contain (if available) the story of how and why it was created. A crew photo or community photo be added as well as a comment section below for all the crew members and sticker fans to leave comments. We’re also trying to find community type patches like the Flight Engineers Patch or EWOP Patch, if you know of any cool community wide patches please let us know.
